HAND-MADE toys, jewellery and home baking were on display at Sacred Heart Primary School for its Made in Petone arts and crafts market at the weekend.
The free event is a general fundraiser for the school and a venue for people to showcase and sell their handiwork.
It is the fourth one held this year, providing “a perfect starting point for up-and-coming craft designers”, says organiser Karen Arraj-Fisher, a member of the school’s Parent Teacher Association.
She says the final tally of funds raised is not yet known.
Stall holders must have a connection to Petone either by living or working in the area, making the market unique.
